AITC uses Mobile Billboards to promote apprenticeships
Mobile Outdoor Media recently ran a successful campaign for the Australian Industry Trade College (AITC) using static Mobile Billboards driven across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and on the Gold Coast. By driving in high traffic areas at peak travelling times, the AITC aimed to draw awareness and enrolment for students in years 10 to 12 looking to complete senior school and start an apprenticeship.
The Australian Industry Trade College, the only school in Queensland where students spend half the term in the classroom and half the term participating in work experience, work placements, training, or an apprenticeship or traineeship at a school, opened its doors in 2006.
Their curriculum is created to fulfil the needs of the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) while also gradually developing employability skills and achieving individual learning goals.
To engage young people in intentional learning experiences with real-world industry relevance, the AITC seeks to smoothly integrate senior education and vocational training.
The college now have specialist programs including:
AITC x Protech Academy,
Boating Industry Academy,
Energy Academy, as well as the
Equine Industry Quickstart program.
Mobile Billboards played a key piece in in the marketing mix for their most recent campaign to promote their school locations in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Redlands, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba.
With the help of our skilfully placed static Mobile Billboards, Mobile Outdoor Media created and marketed the campaign’s primary advertising artwork in high-traffic areas throughout Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, and on the Gold Coast. The Mobile Outdoor Media team found this work to be simple and entertaining given that we provide services to hundreds of neighbourhood residents between Byron Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
Traditional mobile billboards were a wonderful, cost-effective choice for the AITC campaign because they allowed for one clear message to be sent to the public. Mobile billboards were a wonderful choice for this campaign because they can be used for a long time and are a cost-effective alternative because they are produced and run without energy. Additionally, because there was just one message, the AITC was assured a 100% voice share.
The Australian Industry Trade College has the option to conduct this campaign again in the future by working with Mobile Outdoor Media since we can save their signs and reuse them at a later time without incurring new production fees.
